Some thoughts

After discussing my progress through foundation so far with a teacher, I was encouraged to work with costume/fabrics/textiles which is an area I've always wanted to try before, but never dared to being that I have no experience with it. I started brainstorming how fabrics and textiles could be used to represent my heritage and my arrival up to where I am today. I then thought about how in Bangladesh during flood seasons when the land is inundated, women would sometimes stay indoors and weave/stitch stories into the table cloth (see below)
